Now is a great time to visit TBG and see what catches your eye in the winter! You will find trees and shrubs that may display interesting bark or berries. Located in Toledo, Ohio, this venue offers gorgeous flowers and greenery for a wedding backdrop that requires little outside decor. Couples looking to hold a ceremony or reception have a selection of the following venues:The Lake Lawn seats 200 guests for a ceremony and is surrounded by a stream and weeping willows. The Perennial Garden serves as a backdrop.The Grande Allee is the largest outdoor ceremony spot, with seating for 500 guests. It has a gazebo and is flanked by Silver Linden trees.The Small Park with Arches features a steel sculpture for a modern backdrop to the wedding ceremony. It seats 350 guests.The Perennial Garden seats 100 guests for an intimate ceremony. It features beautiful scenery and elegant sculptures.The Pond Gazebo is surrounded by a pond and lush greenery. It seats 100 guests for a ceremony.The Festival Lawn is an outdoor reception site with capacity for 400 guests. It features sycamore tress and the Small Park with Arches sculpture.The Sycamore Allee is an expansive space with room for 500 guests for an outdoor reception. It is a popular spot for tented receptions.The Terrace Room is an indoor space for small receptions up to 80 guests. It has large glass doors for beautiful views and comes with use of a small kitchen.The Stables Room has space for 25 guests for intimate use. It comes complete with a kitchen, living room, dressing room and bathroom. more What You Should Know The Toledo Botanical Gardens provides the rental of their facility only, which means that the wedding couple is responsible for coordinating outside vendors like catering and beverage service, including staff for the day-of event. Tables and chairs also need to be rented from a separate vendor.
